Cake Show!

The other weekend at Ro Z's Sweet Art Studio in San Marcos, CA (North San Diego County), there was a cake show! The theme was Fairytales and Fantasy, and every cake fit! There were a lot of the topsy-turvy cakes that have been popular lately, and tons of creativity, imagination, and detail.


I do apologize for my overall photo quality here- conditions were not ideal, unfortunately. The lighting wasn't great, and there were all these people there trying to look at cakes. totally irritating.

This is just a sampling, believe it or not. I didn't photograph everything. Ro does have pictures posted on facebook, but you have to be her friend to see them.

Ro Z's Sweet Art Studio is definitely worth a visit when you're in the area. If you live in the area, go visit! There are fun new cake pans to drool over, pretty display cakes, and Ro is always super nice. She rents out cake pans, which I think is fantastic, so if you want to do a specialty cake you don't have to buy pans you'll only use once. There's always classes in session, it seems. Check it out!
